So, Harvard, Yale, & Princeton are doing virtual education this fall? Good. They should do virtual education every fall. Massively expanding undergraduate class size would be one of the fastest ways for elite schools to live up to their reputation as engines of opportunity.

MIT opencourseware has had video lectures, problem sets, etc. available from MIT classes, for free, for years now, and that fact hasn’t lowered the perceived value of attending MIT one iota ocw.mit.edu/index.htm

I cannot learn stuff like algebraic geometry from opencourseware, it's just basic stuff I can learn anywhere. I think not even Lagrangian mechanics is covered.

I was referring to video lectures (I know this sounds like a cop-out). Anyway, this does not reflect my current preferences, but the ones from 10 years ago when I discovered ocw and was disappointed.
