the series absolutely holds up on a reread, i did one a few years ago, would recommend

i used to get them from the library; i hit one where a big tragic death happens. It was the first real tragedy I'd read in a book, and I had an absolute sobbing breakdown. I was 10 years old; my mom found me and forbid me from reading any more animorphs again :(
