I've been meaning to move to stage 2 (house with growing food but still close enough where we aren't self sustaining) but the thing is, I need to meet the people I want to do this with to really know how they are and that's been impossible recently lol

imo the biggest thing here is to avoid scope creep and define the purpose and make sure you don't have like,,, 3 ppl dweebing out guns, someone learning how to make a bunker while all the fucking plants die and everyone's on edge start small. house. garden. food. people

I'm not in the business of making a zero waste 10-year-reserves armed bunker compound. someone's talking about WMDs in this thread lol I want a core group that has the skills to grow what they can, and the money to buy the shit they can't a place for others to join and happy
