thinking about making an alt and tweeting nonsense in specific patterns just to make an art project through this 🤔 I wonder how far you could take that

Considering you can drag the threads around, just making stuff would probably not be all that hard, but the elegant to do it would be to have it all in one connected superstructure

have thought for a bit about inventing a form of poetry specifically for twitter, that takes full advantage of threading

I would be very interested to hear more on this 👀

each tweet is a stanza but the combination of replies and QTs means navigation between stanzas can be highly nonlinear, could write e.g. a choose-your-own-adventure poem individual stanzas / tweets can also do fun stuff like incorporate emoji, ascii art, play with char limit

the poem could literally be a twitter conversation between N participants replying to, QTing, etc. each other except everybody is speaking in verse lmao okay kinda wanna write this now

exquisite corpse poetry, but you are only allowed to reply to the tweet with whatever context you have gleamed from the TL. Can't open or expand it. Would need a signifier so people recognize the game and don't spoil themselves finding out

I think the lack of structure might be very interesting as well though. Just outline some rules and go. If they don't get followed, thats fine too. That's part of the fun! See what emerges organically
