Conversation

Possibly dumb question: What sort of thing *is* mental energy? I get to, say, 18:00 and my brain is "Nope, no more thinking. We have done enough thinking. Tired now." but what's actually going on there? Is there some resource I've actually exhausted? Is it emotional?

I strongly suspect there's more than one thing here. I'm pretty sure one-of-the-things (at least for me) is a sort of buildup of suppressed emotions. Often if I take half an hour to feel my body and feel sad/angry/afraid about whatever comes up, I'll find myself re-energized.
