hmm so this is a real tricky question for me b/c like there's lots of practices i think are good, and it would be great to be in a group that did them regularly, and there's something funny that happens when you "enshrine" them

like it gets real fucky if you're a cult with some pieces of genuinely transformative psychotech but you make the use of that psychotech the basis of social status and inclusion, it fucks up people's relationship to the tech

i guess i'm saying i'd want to start the anti-cult cult, like i'd try to heavily prioritize seeding it with stuff explicitly geared towards avoiding abusive cult failure modes, that's the key problem really
