I have never particularly resonated with the idea that we need to accept death and trying to meditate on it has never given me much in particular- I think it’s best construed as a dualistic framing of emptiness

actually just remembered- when I was on a Goenka retreat 5 years ago I had the realization of how naturally reincarnation fit into that metaphysics- every moment of consciousness is already a cycle of death and birth, so there’s no type distinction between life and rebirth
