What's a term or word that at first felt very empty to you, but later on gained meaning? One for me is 'holding space.' I used to think people who said that were hippies with some brain mash going on, but now it's a super real and useful term for me.

"gratitude." i think i was mostly coerced into saying "thank you" for a bunch of my life and i'm not sure i sincerely felt gratitude until i was 26 or something (via circling)

Hadn’t heard of Circling before. Did you go to a workshop? Was it rewarding?

i've been to workshops, yeah, but my most powerful experiences came from smaller events run by really experienced friends of mine. i used to be really into proselytizing circling but i've calmed down a little, it has a bunch of failure modes if facilitated poorly
