spending the last month absolutely refusing to do anything remotely "productive" on any level was fun but maybe i should take it up a level by also absolutely refusing to "learn" anything from the experience

I'm really struggling with this one right now! I don't currently know how to "just be" in a difficult place, without putting energy into learning from it, improving myself, fixing it, etc. Since I don't know how to, presumably I should learn how? That isn't the point though...
there's a kind of learning that involves force / exertion / effort and there's a kind of learning where things just sort of wash over you and stuff just happens without any particular effort, and those are maybe different enough to deserve different names
