Can someone explain to me what's the deal with cultural appropriation actually about? I tried googling for this, and unfortunately also checked Twitter search, and now I'm completely confused at this point.

it started as this one thing that kinda made sense (respecting sacred symbols etc.) and then metastasized into this other arguably much worse thing which makes much less sense and is about finding excuses for callouts IMO
