Quite fascinating and thanks for sharing. I will have to add that to my list of things to look for when doing deep emotional processing. The connection both of you made to sexuality and baby making is also really interesting.

the feet thing was triggered by an experience i had meditating after doing a lot of processing that i think might have been first jhana? waves of tingly blissy feelings all over my body. so it wasn't just the processing itself. happy to go into more detail!

I first heard “emotion is in the hips” and scoffed, adolescently. Then I did some yoga during some rough times 2 years ago. Pigeon pose led to a good 5 minutes of cathartic crying. We humans can think of stress and trigger physiological stuff.
