after several months i snapped out of it, thought "what the fuck just happened to me?" and resolved to not think about philosophy again until i acquired more life experience, which happened around the end of college when i found HPMoR and LW

I am slightly embarrassed to say that I was very into Ayn Rand’s philosophy when I was 18. The biggest thing I remember though is not being able to finish reading Fountainhead because it was so boring lol. It took me 4 more years to understand the shortcomings of her positions
