there are exactly 32 different stat growth patterns, and unlike in e.g. Pokemon, stat growth is not linear with level! some patterns grow quickly and then stagnate after some level, some patterns grow slowly and don't pick up until very high levels

i spent somewhere between 4 and 8 hours the last few days using this information to create a conditionally formatted spreadsheet of each monster's stats at level 20 and level 30 for planning purposes and i love it so much. here they are ranked by total stats at level 30pic.twitter.com/kQQZvXNfeD

there are some very surprising entries on this list. reaper, florajay, and madplant can all be bred very early in the game and their stats are weirdly crazy good, better than some endgame monsters (at level 30, the endgame monsters get better later)

unfortunately i still have not managed to find out how EXP growth works. there are also exactly 32 patterns here but i don't know what they are. in Pokemon the amount of EXP needed to get to a particular level is ~cubic; here it appears to have been... hand-designed?
