There are many alts I follow and love. I’m happy they have the freedom to say what they want. But I appreciate it even more when people say things under their real name. And you already have great editorial range with this account. Double-down on it!

ah yes, I am all too familiar with that luxury :). And I often forget to model “anxious employers” when thinking about other people’s social media usage....

Next time I'm job-hunting I'll ask companies what they'll do if an employee gets online-mobbed for something taken out of context or misconstrued. I'm sure a lot of bosses have realized that it's worth it to weather a brief storm to earn credibility with all your employees.

Yeah, I hope I'd do that as a boss too. I'm at least comfortable enough with what I've said on twitter so far that if someone were to fire or refuse to hire me because of it then I wouldn't want to work for them anyway. There's spicier stuff I haven't gotten to tho...
