I politely disagree or don't understand! If I have something that all of me wants, I will strategize and optimize the hell out of it. If I have something I fear, I either avoid it or stare at it until I am comfortable with it.

It's tricky; the original tweet wasn't written as poetry but it was more or less intended to be read as poetry. When optimizing the hell out of a want carries an undertone of desperation, that means there's fear under it: fear of not getting what you want.
