More importantly, it misdirects attention towards some potential past event that needs to be processed, rather than the current reality of how creativity is getting stuck.
I spent the last week processing past events at a retreat and it unstuck a ton of energy; I maybe hit first jhana as a result. Happy to show you the technique we were taught; it's been extremely powerful for me and everyone else at the retreat.
