@Aella_Girl asked me awhile ago whether people have trouble processing positive emotions, not just negative ones, and I think the answer is 100% yes. For parts of the last several weeks I've been trying to distract / dissociate from _positive_ emotions in my body.

I can relate to this. There were a few years where as soon as I felt some sort of relief or joy, my mind would immediately find ways that I was "guilty" and didn't deserve it. This caused the muscles in the right side of my jaw to contract such that I couldn't smile naturally
