this feels related to a thing
@Aella_Girl brought up awhile back about how in hippie spaces there's a lot of "goddess" talk when it comes to women but zero "god" talk when it comes to men. i think men understand that referring to themselves as gods would accomplish nothing good -
also related to this backlash against "male feminists." people are starting to understand that there's something untrustworthy about a man who feels a need to explicitly self-describe as a feminist. none of the men i most trust to treat women well call themselves feminists
