Riffing off a recent SSC post, most modern religions-in-this-sense have been selected memetically, not culturally. They're collections of viral sticky memes that people are drawn to but that's very different from actually promoting long-term individual and group flourishing.

I'd expect most religions-for-young-people to become family-oriented as the adherents grow up. E.g. video games: I originally got into them via my dad, and all the gamer parents I know are introducing the hobby to their kids as soon as the kids are old enough. Fandoms similarly.

By "for" I more have in mind whether their structures are specifically geared towards supporting and strengthening families. E.g. the usual consent ideology in social justice is mostly inapplicable to raising children, I think.
