it puts the blame in the wrong place. most people with "mental health problems" probably have mostly healthy minds reacting to deeply unhealthy environments. worth doing a thread on this but haven't gotten around to it. in the meantime:

another way in which i suspect it's reductive and misleading to focus on minds is the importance of bodies. experientially my "mental health" is deeply affected by what's going on in my body, in several ways; cf. gut flora, the enteric nervous system, etc.
