Well, it feels rude to be too specific about where I think another person is in their development or w/e, but it seems to me that Scott has not yet understood that there is a different thing he can do other than reasoning ever harder and ever more carefully.

Well, no, he's _done_ the other thing, IMO most spectacularly with the Moloch post and Who By Very Slow Decay. But it hasn't gotten hooked into his reasoning about reasoning somehow? I don't know, man.

Hm. I haven't read those. I'll check them out. Regardless I really do like his writing even if I don't regularly read his stuff
