Any tips on this? I tried just running as fast as I could and that felt good but in the past I haven't been able to sustain the habit. Think there are probably things wrong with my form, I did notice that I was tensing a bunch of muscles unnecessarily.

I would recommend finding a commitment device that works for you and a very long grassy field, and then jog the field back to origin once or twice to warm up, and then away as fast as you can, absolute safe max, with a slow jog back, 3-7 times. Start 2-3/week. Eventually 1/week.
