I'm not sure that happiness should be the ultimate goal of people. I mean, being happy is just a feeling. Shouldn't we strive to be better people for oneself and society and not the maintenance of one's life for the purpose of a single feeling?

This is part of the heaven vs. enlightenment focus distinction I was trying to get at in this tweet. There are people who are on the enlightenment side that think that wanting to DO something to achieve oneness is the actual map/territory mistake.https://twitter.com/mattgoldenberg/status/1115576370103562242 …

Note that both heaven and enlightenment are about the strive for congruence/alignment. However, one is changing yourself to be congruent with the world, and one is changing the world to be congruent with yourself.

Huh weird. The idea of neverending oneness & bliss sounds super boring to me. I feel like these people actually want this below thing and aren't creative enough to imagine how it could be interesting.
