I have gotten a lot less surprised that romantic relationships end, over the last 2 years. It feels like the default outcome a lot more than it used to. Something like, I now expect most relationships to accrue debt over time that people don't know how to pay off.

I've only read 5 pages of this book but I loved what I read! Esther Perel seems like she really, really gets it.
