Self-judgment is such a wild rabbit hole, lots to dig into here. Like the idea of an inner critic / inner authoritarian; part of you trying to keep the rest of you in line, in order to... be good? Be accepted? Can get real deep into parental / school / religious trauma here.

Instead of judgment, can try cultivating compassion + curiosity for yourself (much easier said than done, took me years to get anywhere): instead of "fuck, just spent the last 3 hours on reddit, I'm such a fuck up," more like "aww, poor baby, must be tired" kind of thing.
