one of the wildest things i learned recently was that executive dysfunction is a symptom of complex PTSD. that is a very sobering fact to keep in mind when i look at e.g. all the rationalists or tumblrites who talk about executive dysfunction :/
Wouldn't the ED-autism connection be a more obvious culprit for the rationalist case, though?
in some cases that's more obvious, but there is definitely a particular class of rationalist that doesn't strike me as very autistic but does strike me as plausibly having something like complex PTSD. similar for tumblrites.
