And then there's prose. Fuck. Just look at it. All those words that, if sung, might have actually meant something - might have actually carried some divine spark - casually flung onto paper or a screen. A torrent of little corpses.
I still think it's really tricky to nail down what "feels the same" means. Maybe you love puppies and I hate them. That'll probably show up in neural activation. Do we have the "same" concept of puppies then?

Probably not! Depends on how much we’d like to confabulate “what I feel about puppies” and “the Concept of puppies”. There’s probably more common ground in the latter than the former, but even being able to reason/say concrete things like “my feeling for puppies...”
