I am a practicing Catholic. I am open about my faith on social media. I have never once been abused. Probably because I never express that I am better than anyone who does not share my beliefs. I go to church without any fear. There is zero discrimination against me.

The same cannot he said for my Muslim, Jewish and Sikh brothers and sisters. This grieves me greatly. Australia needs stronger anti-villification laws, and freedom from religion laws, laws to protect our secular state.

Sadly people of faith can't get the difference between discrimination and simply having your opinions challenged. No Christian in this country has been jailed for practising their faith.

Ah, now we see the reason this Ash bloke was chosen as the peoples representative (or whatever they call it). He's a "person of faith". Which reminds me of the late great Christopher Hitchens who said that religion gets far too much respect.

Get rid of ‘people’s panelists’ unless they are worth listing to. I feel like I am stuck talking to a ‘😑’ in the corner, at a party I was looking forward to. WHAT A CREEP

@QandA has had some great people's panelists but last night really missed the mark. Was only half listening. A pity because Science episode week before was brilliant.

Even though more information was provided about Ash on your website, there should have been a much bigger declaration of the fact he ran for a Christian political party during the show!!

The 2km my kids walk to school they pass three churches and two faith based schools. Tell me again about how fearful those of faith are being called out.

I've been looking for people of faith who are being discriminated against. Hard to find anyone who fits the criteria. Of course, lots of people *feel* discriminated against - because they can't discriminate against others.
