Slow the video and you'll see one of the "sprinters" is visually impaired. SDOT should be sued for this kind of disregard for safety.

Keep your eye on the pedestrian signal. Plenty of people want to cross but it never signals WALK. Meanwhile, cars get green three times.

Is this intersection designed using #VisionZero principles? Does it minimize modal conflicts? Does it assume humans behave like humans?

When was this filmed? This is the corner closest to where I live, and visually, the walk symbol comes on if I press the beg button or not. There is sound when you press the beg button, but not if you or anyone else doesn’t press the beg button.
