Belltown's Labor Temple, now in capitalist hands, will be getting painted brick along the roofline and a new lobby.

It sounds like the Architectural Review Committee of the Landmarks Board had a lukewarm reaction to the painted brick and corporate lobby so the architect will likely need to return for another look.
The developer said they are able to patch the terra cotta so well that no one can tell it was damaged. Hopefully, this isn’t an example of their handiwork.

Fun fact, the landmark preservation board members, of which also serve on the ARC sub-committees, all 11 are Mayoral appointees and their board members are not listed online.
