For the first time in 2 years, the signals on Mercer seem to be giving cars and pedestrians the same amount of time. 👍 Did somebody fix this Adaptive Signals problem while I was away? ⁦

Now that SDOT has confirmed the unequal time problem is fixed🍪🍪🍪, here's what's left: 📦 Stop blocking the box 👉 Stop beg-to-cross ⬆️ Set reasonable maximum cycle times ⬇️ Set reasonable minimum phase times 🔚 End permissive left turns

The biggest technical problem with adaptive signals is solved but issues remain. Like this: When cars get a left arrow, all pedestrian traffic is forced to stop, even on the side with no conflict.

Ahmed once told me that during certain types of technical failures the lights may perform "better" (to my standards). For example if the signal isn't receiving detection info and rolls into recall
