Perhaps there should be an impromptu PARK(ing) Day project tomorrow where we provide a bunch of chairs for people to sit on.

Was this really a serious problem? When I’ve cycled on planter protected bike lanes I’ve generally found them to be great, in contrast to plastic wand protected lanes which are mediocre at best.

It’s in one particular block near a social services provider where people sit on the planters. There is nowhere else to sit nearby. So, of course, the solution is to remove the planter protection rather than simply provide seating.
