Eliminating clickbait is already done by implementing that GIF preview when you put the cursor on the video. There's no need to disable custom thumbnails for that.

On mobile I also have it, but it’s not a gif preview it just straight up starts playin the wold video in the thumbnail box. Weird stuff.

I hate that. I can Basically watch the video , without clicking on it. This is stupid. Really. I personally dislike this new update.
