So I've been playing very gradually and I think I'm almost finished, but it's been absolutely brilliant. It's a lot more cliché (in a good way) than RE7 but totally embraces its goofiness. That's not to say it's not scary either - it's just a lot more gothic and less grounded!

Nice! I haven't played any RE games since...maybe the 3rd one. I like the setting of this one. I'll have to check it out. How's the music?
