Welp. That tutorial didn't play well with everything else I had setup. Looks like I have some old school learnin' to do.

Playing around with unity UI to create character and game select screens for the father and son mini game project today. Wish me luck

In typical developer fashion, it took an hour to write the code and another hour to find the 5 second change to make it work.

Thanks! Seems pretty straight forward so far. I'm just used to instantiating players in the live scene. So that'll be interesting to explore a bit.

At one point I just gave up. I'm just copy pasting that one scroll rect, which does what I want

The UI stuff is easy. I've done a lot of that in general. It was more so tying that all together with a persistent player input manager, character select, etc that then spawns players into levels they pick with their options. I figure I'm about half way done.
