At that really fun stage of dealing with things completely out of my comfort zone. Apparently all my speech files need to be in asset bundles with specific names that for some reason certain files have not inherited so I have like 900 files to check manually for naming errors.

Speech audio files were referenced from the resources folder, this was causing Unity to constantly load all of them. Moved over to an asset bundle that is streamed which is so much faster.
