Having to manage my company's finances because I'm not sitting on a giant stack of cash is a time and mental energy sink that detracts from actually making games. I'm used to it, but it's still annoying/stressful.

To be clear, I'd still rather be doing this than something else, and I am lucky and have been lucky, but it's not a walk in the park either.

Most people don't understand what goes into turning something into a viable business. That's a ton of work if you want to support yourself or a team. At one point my agency's monthly expenses were $20k. Definitely stressful. Kudos to you for keeping it going for so long.
