also, how about NPC's that can give tips about a non-listed treasure hunt?
Both are great ideas. I've been thinking about earning items, vehicles, abilities, etc that would give you access to new areas you may have come across already but couldn't get to. NPCs and random world building / hidden item tips is definitely on my list!
