Question for journalists. If I want to send out review copies, is it better to email the website or contact journalists directly? (also, if you're interested in being on our press list, pls send an inquiry to press@puppetcombo.com)
It is always better to email the journalist directly. Make sure you look into what articles they've written and what games they've covered in the past so it aligns with what you're sending them. That's your best bet.

I've done that in the past but the problem is, that person will often not have time or forget to cover it and the I lose coverage on the entire site. Like I can't contact 3 people on one site and ask them for coverage, so if I pick the wrong person, it's a dead end.

Yeah. That's a tough one. You could always email multiple people or go email the general address plus a specific writer. The whole PR side for indie dev is a crap shoot sadly.
