When using Git-like apps, do you upload commits on every file change or do you wait till the end of the day to push a single commit?

Do you write descriptions for your commits?
Yeah. Otherwise you lose the value behind the process. Something like this works well, especially if multiple people work on it: Title: General improvements (enemy + saves) - [Gameplay] fixed bug where enemy would walk thru doors - [UI] added save option to pause menu

Then if something breaks during QA/testing a few days or weeks later you can just circle back to what has changed and drill down easily or revert if needed. Then you aren't digging through code trying to figure out what changed with different pushes.

I see, thanks! There's just 2 of us using Git, so our commit titles feel descriptive enough. When I break my code, I usually dig through it using a debugger instead of rolling back changes :)
