When I finally managed to pay my development bills.
Was it a hard decision? Were you making more with a day job? Always curious what others experienced.

On average the gains are similar, varying depending on the time of year. Usually at the end of the year it is very bad, it improves after March, so I make my savings. I work as a freelancer too.

Freelance is definitely a good source of ongoing income. Gives you the freedom of time too which is great.
