Lighting is looking good--what are you doing differently than the stock lighting tech?

Thanks! It's only about 3-4 hours in at this point, so it's just calculating the position of the sun to determine fog density and lerping color changes to add more depth and texture. I will extend that to include weather and locations too. So it's foggier by the lake, etc.

Ah, nice--I like it! Time of day stuff is spiffy. Are you going to be looking into dynamic clouds?

Yeah. I'm not sure how far I'll take some of that because it'll come down to a balance of low poly & high fidelity things. In the least, I'll have the clouds in the game now pull from a pool of available objects and move across the sky then change out the skybox based on weather.
