Adding a camera / screen mode. Which format do you prefer?
1&2: seeing the camera phone (hand coming later)
3&4: full screen becomes camera.
The saved photo will always be full screen without the overlays either way.

Noted! I'd have the character pull up the phone and then it becomes full screen as a transition if I went that route. Not sure yet. Just playing around with it because I wanted to have a photo mode. :)

I think I prefer to be able to see the phone, but I cannot explain why!

Agreed. There a subconscious aspect to the "real life experience" of it. Where you can still see your surroundings, but focus on photos in your phone. Also easier to walk around and have it feel different as a feature.

I'd prefer seeing the phone, but then the shot should be cropped to what's shown inside the phone.... alternatively, what you mentioned already: doing like a zoom in transition

Yup! The screenshot itself would be what you see in the camera, not have any gameplay UI elements, etc. Thanks for the feedback
