What's a creative way to handle the edge of a map without water, mountains, or invisible wall? I thought about having the map repeat, like it was a small globe, and you end up back on the other side...

Hm. You may be on to something...what if each time you tried to leave some random situation happened like a tornado, UFO, police chase, etc. Probably more complex than I was hoping for but could lead to some interesting experiences.
