Quick level exploration. Light grey with a black line through it = road. Black boxes = building site. Sites could also be a parking lot, park, etc. Inspired by @notimetoulose.

This looks super nice however I have some observations: - Try to add some open spaces (parks, plazas) - Make sure that large intersections have some unique buildings around them - Try to establish some hierarchy of roads (1lane, 2lanes,etc). Good job so far!

Thanks! I tried to overly generalize this and use the "building" spaces as blocks that could include a building, park, parking lot, etc for a first pass. My goal was to have the bones of a city to greybox and test out game mechanics, car speed, and overall scale before refining.

I'm hyped! Is this going to go into the little cars prototype?

Here's a segment of the crude build out so far. The scale ended up much larger than I thought which turned it into more of a metropolis. At this size, 4 lane streets with medians, etc would really help. Then leave the side streets to these roads.pic.twitter.com/VeYVB1iUeN

You will need to scale it bases on your production power. Bigger city means more art effort, more work. Just make sure it's as big as you need it to be.

With this being a 10 to 20 hour a week solo project this scale is a tad too lofty. Lol
