I really hope this is not the case. I'm trying to find sources which confirms that ibuprofen can have this effect but I haven't been able to find any that's, well, reliable. Anyone else?https://www.thelocal.fr/20200314/coronavirus-french-health-minister-issues-warning-over-anti-flammatories …
As someone with a compromised immune system my doctors tell me not to take Advil or ibuprofen. They suggest Tylenol. The others can make inflammation worse. That's factual.

For clarity, I have no info on how it relates to covid-19 though.

Huh? Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug. How can that possibly make inflammation worse? (I'm taking anti-inflammatory drugs for my Bursitis shoulder, (almost literally) dying to know here)

May just be my ailment. Not sure. It's a common suggestion. I found similar here lower down the page https://www.everydayhealth.com/crohns-disease/living-with/6-mistakes-youre-making-that-can-make-crohns-worse/ …

I'm sure that's true for you with your condition, but I for an example have a chronic inflammatory disease, and I get treated with strong doses of ibuprofen and/or injections of cortisone, so in my case, that's not true. Medication acts very differently depending on condition.

I do too. I have Crohn's disease. A chronic inflammatory condition. I've been told for 15 years by multiple doctors it would be good to stay away from it. It still helps relieve pain but it can also worsen other aspects of inflammation.
