I might've gotten a bit obsessed with my latest experiments and couldn't help but make a small forest scene and trying out a tree-shadow cookie effect, similar to that of @FinjiCo's TUNIC.
This might end up being something at some point...

Try angling the capped branch parts up more to give the illusion of growth and movement. Add a lighter texture or color to the cap / end. Vary the sizes of them slightly. I think that may work.

Those sound like solid suggestions! I tried keeping it simple (very basic geometric shapes, one solid color) to keep some sort of toy aesthetic, but I guess playing a bit more can help. Thanks!

Even just having a lighter color on the end cap of the cut branches may do the trick for simplicity sake. Looks amazing though! Love the colors and processing on this.
