It's supposed to be in the upper 50F range tomorrow and/or Tuesday. That's an 80-degree temperature swing in less than a week (it was -30F here Wednesday/Thursday). That's the difference between freezing (32F) and dying of heat stroke (112F). Gadzooks, that's insane.

Isn't it? Then you think about it, it was -30F outside, you kept it at 70F in your house, and then it was 0F in your freezer. A total temperature swing of 170F between outside-in your house-in your freezer. Human beings are incredible lol.
Totally agree. I thought through so many of those things. So grateful my power didn't go out like some people in the state. Can't imagine how anyone would survive the cold like that.

Me either, but y'know it happens a couple of times every decade and here we be. I think if the planet had another ice age, it wouldn't suck as much as the first one.

Someone shared a meme about how Wisconsin was colder than Mars last week. I don't know if that's true or not but it gave me hope we could live on Mars some day. What a sight that would be.
