It's supposed to be in the upper 50F range tomorrow and/or Tuesday. That's an 80-degree temperature swing in less than a week (it was -30F here Wednesday/Thursday). That's the difference between freezing (32F) and dying of heat stroke (112F). Gadzooks, that's insane.
You must be in the Midwest like I am. I was shocked that it was -30, not including wind, but we were able to keep the house at 70. That's a 100 degree difference. It's crazy to think about.

Isn't it? Then you think about it, it was -30F outside, you kept it at 70F in your house, and then it was 0F in your freezer. A total temperature swing of 170F between outside-in your house-in your freezer. Human beings are incredible lol.

Totally agree. I thought through so many of those things. So grateful my power didn't go out like some people in the state. Can't imagine how anyone would survive the cold like that.
