Not quite sure what you mean but I am working on an implementation of Substitute but I am trying quite hard to make it as stable and as powerful as Suvstrate, which is extremely hard but I have figured out most of it so far and it is still being worked on.
FWIW, if you are concerned about jailbreaks decreasing the security of your device, you really shouldn’t be: Modern jailbreaks such as unc0ver do no longer disable the app sandboxes but modify them to add exceptions that are required for the tweaks to load properly.

does the new version affect ram management at all? I seem to have a bunch of apps offloading their memory much more frequently than previous versions.

I would rather see someone come up with a way to be able to easily protect iOS or load our own operating system like a new computer this being able upgrade or downgrade when ever I want
